Support for students at every level of the university

Reasons to Support Graduate, Professional and Medical Students

Graduate, PhD and medical students, as well as students pursuing degrees at USC’s professional schools and postdoctoral fellows, are a vital part of life at USC. Their scholarly and creative contributions are essential to the intellectual vibrancy of the university and greatly enhance both faculty-led research and classroom instruction. In addition, their future research and professional accomplishments will add luster to the university’s reputation. Your gifts to support these talented future academic and professional leaders will ensure that these students have the resources and opportunities they need to excel.

Here are some ways you can support our graduate students:

Endowed Graduate Fellowships provide tuition and a stipend to support a student’s educational expenses. The availability of fellowships is key to attracting the most talented graduate students. School-based graduate fellowships are needed in every school.

Postdoctoral Fellowships allow researchers who have already earned their PhDs to continue their training as researchersand gain skills and experience that will prepare them for their academic careers.

Medical Scholarships help students in the Keck School of Medicine of USC train to become the physicians, researchers and health care leaders of the future.

Professional Student Scholarships recognize the academic excellence of students in USC’s professional programs who are working to become leaders in the global economy.
